Salthouse Parish Council is committed to freedom of information and has adopted the Information Commissioner's Model Publication Scheme, as required by law.

The council intends to make as many of its official documents as possible available via this website, however this will take time to implement, please bear with us.

As and when documents are placed online, we will update our Guide to Information.

Please check the meetings and official documents page to see what is available.

If you would like any information at all about Salthouse Parish Council, please contact the clerk in the first instance to discuss your requirements. The council will do its utmost to help.

Before making a formal FOI request, please consider whether your request is proportionate to the council's resources. Our budget only provides up to 4 hours pay per week for the clerk, this barely covers the routine operation of the council. The extra cost of any complex FOI requests will have to be borne by the residents of our tiny community through their council tax.

Documents are held at the council's office address which is 8 Weynor Gardens, Kelling, Norfolk, NR25 7EQ. In common with all small Parish Councils this 'office' is in fact a private residence, the clerk works from home. Consequently any visiting is by appointment and at reasonable hours only, and the office is not necessarily fully accessible. If you have particular access needs, the clerk will arrange to meet you at an accessible location.
